Advanced, research-oriented soil science course for the graduate students in various fields. Current concepts and theories in soil genesis and morphology; advanced study of soil taxonomy. Lecture topics selected from the studies of soil-forming processes, soil-geomorphic relations, mineral weathering, new developments in soil classification, soil information systems (SIS) and development of pedologic theory. Offered fall semester of odd-numbered years only.
